There was parking close to the hotel. The room 414 was compact but clean. The bath towels were absorbant and soft. I didn't hear other guests during the night. The desk manager working on Saturday 4 November was very pleasant and provided me with information on the history of Metz which was much welcome.

The location is good, walking distance to the shopping street. Parking discount is offered by the hotel at the nearby parking garage.

The front desk staff went above and beyond. They upgraded us to a larger, more convenient room and were also very helpful with providing info for the bus schedule. And gave us a big bucket of ice!!

It is an Ibis hotel, just like the rest of Ibis, with the same room, the same (fair but sufficient) amenities, and the same limited breakfast as any Ibis. If anything, this one was a bit older than most Ibis. Very well located for travelers by train, just opposite the Metz-Ville station.
